Zelma Lee Hubbard age 77 of Hinkle, KY passed away on Saturday morning in the Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of Dave Hubbard. She was born on August 3, 1934 in Knox Co.
Zelma was a homemaker and a member of the Hubbard Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother Bertie (Mills) Smith and an infant son Tony Hubbard.
Left behind to mourn her passing are her sons Howard Hubbard & wife Lois of Girdler, Larry Wayne Hubbard & Ermalean of Girdler, Bobby Ray Hubbard & wife Janiece of Hinkle, Jimmy Hubbard of Girdler, and Terry Joe Hubbard & wife Joyce of Hinkle, Daughters Jewell Deane Burton & husband David of Cannon, Janet Salmons & husband Rudolph of Manchester, and Deborah Sobieralski & fiancés Pete of Belleville, IL, and Marcella Stratton & husband Stan of Jonesboro, TN, one brother Earl Smith & wife Marie of Flat Lick, KY, and one sister Nettie Jean Ebert & husband George of Morristen, IN, 22 Grandchildren, and 20 Great Grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Zelma Hubbard will be conducted on Tuesday, April 24th, 2012 @ 1:00 p.m. at the Hubbard Missionary Baptist Church in Clay County with the Rev. Herman Mills, and Rev. Ricky Broughton officiating. Pallbearers will be Grandson with Burial in the Hubbard Cemetery at Bright Shade, KY. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
The family will receive Friends at the Hampton Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday at the Church from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
