Worley Wilder

Mr. Worley Wilder age 62, of Keavy, KY, departed this life on Wednesday – March 25, 2009 in the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin, KY, He was the husband of Judy (Perry) Wilder and the son of the late Charlie & Flossie (Bruce) Wilder born to them on June 27,1946 in Bell county.
Mr. Wilder was a member of the Hughes Hill Holiness Church, and a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp, and a supervisor for the Dale Coal company #2, he enjoyed going to church, playing with his grandchildren and reading the Bible.
Survivors include: his wife of thirty nine years Judy Wilder of Keavy, KY, one son Larry Wilder of Keavy, KY, one daughter Melissa Merida & husband Shon of Barbourville, KY, two brothers Woodrow Wilder & wife Lisa of East Bernstadt, KY, Billy Stewart & wife Linda of Sophia, NC, three sisters Joann Bennett & husband James of Harlan,KY, Myrna Miracle & husband Gene of Pineville,KY, Patty McMillian & husband Randy of Harlan, KY, and five Grandchildren Ashley Wilder, Daven Wilder, Daisha Wilder, Jaylin Merida, McKenzie Merida. Mr. Wilder also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr.Wilder will be conducted on Saturday – March 28th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hughes Hill Holiness Church at Girdler, KY, with the Rev. John Whitehead & Rev. Jerry McKinley Holland officiating. Pallbearers will be Family & Friends. Mr. Wilder will be laid to rest in the Cox cemetery at Gray, KY. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hughes Hill Holiness Church on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday – March 28, 2009.
