Mr. Woodrow Baker, Jr. age 80 of Flat Lick, Kentucky departed this life on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at his home. He was born on September 16, 1937 the son of Woodrow Baker and Thelma Mae Baker. He was the husband of Carrie Baker. Woodrow was a member of the Concord Baptist Church and had worked as a Coal Miner. He enjoyed fishing, being with his family and watching the children play.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Tony Curtis Baker, one sister, Geneva Baker, one brother, Bob Baker and a grandson, Ryan Jeffrey Baker.
Left behind to mourn his passing, his loving wife, Carrie Faye Baker, a son Jeff Baker a daughter Debbie Lynn Wynn and husband James and one sister Norma Jean Baker all of Flat Lick, two grandchildren, Cassie Knuckles and husband Webster and Lenny Wynn, five great grandchildren, Devin Knuckles, Caleb Knuckles, Cayden Baker, Hallie Knuckles and Reed Ely. He also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Woodrow Baker, Jr. will be conducted in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Jerry Smith and Rev. Vernon Morris officiating. Cremation will follow funeral services. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday evening after 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and on Saturday after 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at 2:00 P.M.
