Wilma Sams

Mrs. Wilma Lockard Sams age 76 of Broughton, Illinois, passed away Sunday July 1, 2012 in the Harbour Manor Nursing Home in Noblesville, Indiana. She was the widow of Vernon Sams and the daughter of Dan and Mabel Lockard born to them on June 20, 1936.
She is preceded in death by her husband Vernon Sams, her parents, Dan and Mabel Lockard and two brothers, Lewis and Jack Lockard.
Survivors include two sons, Danny Sams and his wife Doris of Barbourville and Louie Sams and his wife Carrie of Noblesville, Indiana, one daughter Sheila Beckman of Illinois, four brothers, Wayne Lockard and his wife Maude of North Carolina, Lonnie Lockard and his wife Drew of Artemus, KY, Ronnie Lockard and his wife Carla of Indiana and Dan Lockard, Jr. and his wife Norma of Tennessee, ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma Sams will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday July 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Tip Smith and Rev. RickyThomas officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
