Wilma Jean Rice

Mrs. Wilma Rice age 74 of Trosper, KY departed this life on Thursday, July 7th, 2011 at her home. She was the daughter of the late James & Bertha (Jackson) Bargo, born to them on October 26th, 1936 in Knox County.
Wilma believed in the Baptist faith, and enjoyed making quilts, coloring, knitting, and reading the newspaper.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Roosevelt Shelton, and her second husband Don Bingham-Rice, five brothers James Bargo Jr, Donald Bargo, Jessie Bargo, J.D. Bargo, and Arnold Bargo, one sister Marie Bargo, two grandchildren Pete McKinley Bays, and Travis Nathan Shelton.
Left behind to mourn her passing is four sons James Shelton, and Donald Ray Rice both of Barbourville, KY, and Rex Rice & wife Emma of Richmond, KY, Roy Rice & wife Mary of Corbin, KY, four daughters Kathleen Bays & husband Pete of Bell county, Judy Shelton Mills of Barbourville, KY, Doris Lane & husband Richard of Barbourville, KY,
And Leona Warfield & fiancé Ray Roark of Trosper, thirteen grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Wilma Rice will be conducted on Sunday, July 10th, 2011 @ 1:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy Haten & Rev. Glen Collins officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Richard Dale Lane Jr, Charles William Warfield III, Aaron Anthony Warfield, Steven Lewis Warfield, Randall Wade Bays, James Adam Shelton, and Jodi Marsee. Burial will follow in the Bingham-Rice Cemetery at Trosper. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
