Mrs. Wilma Hubbard age 64 of Walker, KY departed this life on Friday, May 7, 2016 in the Hospice Care Center in Lexington, KY. She was born on March 29, 1952 in Pineville, KY and was the daughter of Perry Jackson and Martha Sizemore Jackson and was the widow of Leroy Hubbard. She was a member of the Salem Missionary Baptist Church and had worked as a nursing assistant for over seventeen years at the Barbourville Nursing Home.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband along with four brothers, Earnest, W.P., Earl and Laymon Jackson, one sister Anna Lee Jackson and one grandson Brent Nathaniel Williams.
Left behind to mourn her passing, her three daughters, Lisa Hubbard of Walker, Stacy Brown and fiance' Brandley Brown of Scalf and Tonya Matlock and husband James of Barbourville, two brothers, Harold Jackson and wife Arvie of Corbin and Daniel Jackson of Pineville, four grandchildren, Michaela Lynn Brown, Tyler Lee Brown, Sabrina Elliott and David Austin Elliott and one great grandchild, Gunner Kyle Mills. She also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma Hubbard will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. A.Y. Mills, Rev. Bud Sizemore and Rev. Charles Carnes officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery at Acorn Fork. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
