Wilma Callebs

Mrs. Wilma Lee (Mills) Callebs, age 64 of Hinkle, KY departed this life on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at her home. She was the widow of Lowell Dean Callebs, and the daughter of the late Henry & Evelyn (Moore) Mills. Mrs. Callebs was a member of the Dripping Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Callebs had been a employee as a sewing machine operator at Warner’s for 33 years. Her husband Lowell, parents Henry & Evelyn, grandparents Rev. W.M. Moore & Edna, and Lewis & Dawn Payne, one brother Paris Edward Mills, one sister Carolyn Mills, one Brother- in-law Samuel Jones preceded Mrs. Callebs in death.

Survivors include three sons Brian & fiancé Jessica of Callebs Creek,Ky., Micheal Callebs of Callebs Creek, Ky., Mark & wife Linda of Mt. Vernon, Ky., two brothers Earnest Ray Mills of London, Ky., Lester Mills & wife Nannie of Lexington, Ky., five sisters Phyllis Jones of Hinkle, Ky., Juanita Mason & husband Donald of Hinkle, Ky., Louise Jones & husband Charles of Whitesburg, Ky., Brenda Freeman & fiancée Lance Evans of Newark, NJ., Sharlette (Mills) Hensley & husband Billy of London, Ky., two grandchildren Ethan Noah Callebs, Abigail Lee Callebs. Plus a host of other relatives and friends of mourn her passing. Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma Callebs will be conducted on Sunday July 27, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Russell Jones & Rev. Conerd Profitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Moore Cemetery at Hinkle with Nephews serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Tri- County Hospice, Dr. Mitchell Karl, and Dr. Niazi. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all the arrangements.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-9, Saturday from 9-9 and Sunday from 9-2 at the funeral home.
