Willie Peters

Mrs. Willie Ethel Peters age 85 of  Corbin, Ky. passed away Friday-March 16, 2007 in the Pineville Community Hospital. She was the daughter of the John Wallace and Mary Ann

(Main) King, born to them in Bell County, Ky., on February 6, 1922.

Mrs. Peters was united in marriage with Arnold Smith and to this union three children

were born. Later on September 27, 1951 she was united in marriage to Fred Peters.

Mrs. Peters believed in the Baptist faith, and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Arnold Smith

and Fred Peters, one Son, A.J. Smith, two Brothers Evermont King and John Wallace

King, Jr. and two sisters Marthola Ingrahm and Helen Helton.

Survivors include one son James Ed Smith and wife Lucille of Barbourville, Ky., one

daughter Alene Hinds and husband Bob of Cincinnati, Ohio. Eight Grandchildren,  nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Peters will be in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Monday-March 19,2007, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. John Laws and Rev. Murphy Buell officiating. Pallbearers will be Family and Friends. Interment will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin, Ky., Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
