Mr. William “Billy” Joe Rutledge age 45 of Woodbine, Ky., departed this life Monday – March 3, 2008 in the Baptist Regional Medical Center. Mr. Rutledge was member of the Dayton Baptist Temple of Ohio and attended Paint Hill Baptist Church. He was a construction worker during his life. He was the son of Edward Rutledge & Daphne (Terrell) Rutledge, of Woodbine. Born to them on December 11, 1962. His father, and grandparents Ed & Lucy Terrell, and William & Martha Rutledge, one aunt Una Carrier preceded Mr. Rutledge in death.
Survivors include his mother, Daphne Rutledge of Woodbine, Ky., One son William Tyler Rutledge, and One daughter Daphne Denial Rutledge both of Rogersville, T. One brother James Rose & wife Becky of Dayton, Ohio, Two sisters Debra Rose of Woodbine, Ky., and Lucy Rutledge & Gerald Hacker of Gray, Ky., A very special friend Karen, Aunts & Uncles Thelma Wheller, of Ohio, Bobby Joe & Nancy Terrell of Dayton, Ohio, Junior & Louise of Harriman of Tn, also several loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services for Mr. Rutledge will be conducted on Thursday – March 6, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Eaton, and Rev. David Carrier and Rev. Bobby Abner officiating. Pallbearers will be Teddy Carrier, Vernon Carrier, Benny, Bobby, & Charles Terrell, and Rick Helton. Burial will follow in the Wells Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
