William Magee

Mr. William Elbert Magee, age 60 of Barbourville departed this life on Wednesday October 15, 2014 at his home. He was the son of Monvan Feltner Magee and the late William Magee Jr. William was a former heavy equipment mechanic with the Knox County Road Department and Nally and Hamilton Enterprises.
Early in life William was united in marriage to Sandra Brown and to this union two sons were born. Later he was united in marriage to Loretta Jordan who along with his father precedes him in death.
Survivors include his mother, Monvan Magee of Edgemoore, SC. , two sons, William Brandon Magee and Jeremy Coy Magee both of Barbourville, KY, two sisters, Alana Black and husband Wayne and Willamena Martha Robbins and husband Bradley both of South Carolina, one granddaughter Kalli Jade Magee and two nephews, Bradley Robbins and Bert Black along with a host of other relatives and friends left to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for William Magee will be conducted on Friday October 17, 2014 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of the Hampton Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Bobby Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in the Magee cemetery at Wynn Hollow. Pallbearers will be Danny Fultz, Jeff Dierken, Brad Robbins, Wayne Black, Gary Patterson and Chris Grubb.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Friday from 1:00 pm until the hour of service at 3:00 pm. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
