Mr. William Grubb, Jr. age 80 of Lily, KY departed this life on Monday, April 15, 2013 in the Knox Co. Hospital. He was the widow of Betty Grubb and the son of William Grubb, Sr. and Sylvia Bargo Grubb. He was born on December 4, 1932 in Knox Co., KY and was a farmer. Mr. Grubb is preceded in death by his wife and parents.
Survivors include his daughter Misty Brightwell of Forney, Texas, four brothers, Paul Grubb of Blue Ash, Ohio, Leonard Grubb and wife Janet of Goshen, Ohio, Terry Grubb and wife Phyllis of Mason, Ohio and Phillip Grubb of Mt. Vernon, KY, two sisters, Geneva Jones of Lily, KY. and Laverne Cooper and husband Don of Cincinnati, Ohio, two grandchildren, Samantha & Ryan. Mr. Grubb also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Grubb will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the McHargue Cemetery at Lily, KY. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
