William Travis "Big T" Gray

William Travis "Big T" Gray, age 22 of Flat Lick, KY departed this life on Monday April 27, 2015 at his home. He was the son of Randy and Jeanette Helton Gray born to them on March 15, 1993. Travis was a mechanic and believed in the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Thomas Gray and a special cousin Mike Grubb.
Survivors include his mother, Jeannette Gray of Flat lick, His father, Randy Gray and wife Tammy of Himyar, a brother, Benjamin Tyler Gray of Flat Lick, two half-brothers, Randal Gray and wife Amanda and Rex Gray both of Barbourville, A step brother, T.J. Melton. His paternal grandmother Della Gray of Barbourville and Maternal grandparents HC and Lela Helton of Flat Lick. Four uncles, Larry Gray and wife Navada of Bimble, KY, Scott Gray and wife Vernie of Flat Lick, Tom Gray and wife Jeanetta of Barbourville and Jeff Gray of Williamsburg, KY, five aunts, Judy Hensley and husband Steve and Jeannie Merida and husband Carl all of Flat Lick, Michelle Jefferies of North Carolina, Beth Cook of Barbourville and Betty Broughton of Artemus, fifteen cousins, Trevor and Jared Grubb of London, KY, Jimmy Wilson of Pineville, KY, Jeramy Turnbill of Ohio, Joe and Andrew Alford of Michigan, Steve Grubb, Erin Grubb both of Barbourville, Ryan, Jennifer and Nick Gray of Corbin, KY and Korey, Jason, Tina and Scott Merida all of Flat Lick, Special little buddy Kyle Merida of Flat Lick and special friends, Corey Gambrel, Deanna and Emmet Smith of Barbourville, James Gambrel, Noah Gray, Tyler Collins and Josh Gray all of Flat Lick and Charles Woolum and Chad Bright of Corbin, KY along with a host of other relatives and friends left to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for William Travis Gray will be conducted in the chapel of the Hampton Funeral Home on Friday May 1, 2015 at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Sylvester Dunn and Rev. Pat Chestnut officiating. Interment will follow in the Baker cemetery at Flat Lick. Pallbearers will be cousins and friends. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
The family will receive friends on Thursday April 30, 2015 from 6 until 9pm and Friday from 10am until the hour of service at 2:00pm at the Hampton Funeral Home.
