Mrs. Wendy Kay Napier age 36 of Tazewell, TN, departed this life on Sunday, December 7, 2014 in the UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. She was the wife of Stanley Napier and the daughter of J.T. & Lenora Gray born to them on August 20, 1978 in Barbourville, KY. Wendy was a receptionist at Laurel Manor Health Care in Tazewell and was a member of the Trinity Pentecostal Church. She is preceded in death by her brother, Steven Gray and an aunt Deanna.
Survivors include her husband Stanley of Tazewell, TN, two brothers, Frank Gray and wife Cindy of Barbourville and Eric Gray and fiance' Brandy of Lexington, KY, special aunts, Savannah, Axie, Helen, Dessie, Kay and Doris. She also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wendy Kay Napier will be conducted on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Barbourville with Rev. Mike Grooms and Rev. Bill Engle, Jr. Pallbearers will be David Gray, Danny Gray, Johnny Gray, Tony Gray, Billy Gray, Billy Bradford, Mike Grooms, Virgle Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be, Dr. Kemball and staff and UT Medical Center staff. Burial will be in the Hammons Cemetery at Flat Lick. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church on Wednesday evening after 6:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
