Mr. Wendell “Nick” Crit Nickell
Mr. Wendell “Nick” Crit Nickell age 73 of Sebring, Florida, formerly of London, Ky. passed away Tuesday-January 23, 2007 in the Florida Hospital South in Orlando, Florida. He was born in Cannel City, KY on July 23, 2933 to Ova and Monnie (Whitt) Nickell and had been a resident of Sebring, Florida since 1977.
He was an assembler for Ford Automotive Co. and was a member and active
deacon at the Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church in Avon Park, Florida. He
served in the United States Air force during the Korean War and was a
member of the Kidney Transplant Association. He is survived by his wife
Janice F. Nickell of Sebring, Florida, two sons, Rev. Wendell Shane
Nickell and wife Sandra of Barbourville, Ky. and Eric Shawn Nickell and
wife Linda of Sebring, Florida, one daughter, Suzanne Marie Johnson and
husband Bob of Aurora, Colorado, two sisters, Wanda Underwood and Rose
Nickell both of Ypsilanti, Michigan. He also leaves behind seven
grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on
Friday, January 26, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Adams officiating. Visitation will be two
hours prior to the service time from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. To the
