Mr. Walter Eugene Owens, age 63, of Barbourville, Kentucky departed this life on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Barbourville ARH Hospital. He was the son of Walter and Gracie Mae Smith Owens of Knox County Kentucky, born to them on December 3, 1955. Walter worked in construction as a brick layer and enjoyed hunting.
He was preceded in death by parents Walter and Gracie Mae Smith Owens, and brother Lonnie Ray Owens.
Left behind to mourn his passing are sisters Sherry Owens and husband Carl Dykes, Brenda Doolin, Deborah Owens and Beverly Smith, brother Rick Owens all of Barbourville, Kentucky. He is also survived by many relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
