Vivian Marion

Mrs. Vivian Marion age 68 of Girdler, KY departed this life on Tuesday – June 15th, 2010 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon, KY. She was the widow of Bobby Marion and the daughter of the late Sherman & Stella (Smith) Gray of Knox County born to them on December 1st, 1941. Mrs. Marion believed in the holiness faith and enjoyed shopping, going to the beauty shop, and riding the Greyhound bus.

She was preceded in death by her parents Sherman & Stella Gray, her husband Bobby Marion, and one brother Calloway Gray.

Left behind to mourn her passing is three brothers Forester Gray & Tammy of Rock hills, SC, Sol Gray & wife Beatrice of Indianapolis, IN, and Lonnie Gray of Barbourville, KY. Three sisters Carol Partin, and Shelia Jones both of Indianapolis, IN and Bonnie Sue Castle & husband Arlis of Munith, Michigan. Plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Mrs. Marion will be conducted on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glenn Collins officiating. Pallbearers will be Family & Friends with burial at the Willis Cemetery at Cannon, KY. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

Visitation will be on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
