Virgie Fuson

Mrs. Virgie Fuson age 69 of Flat Lick, KY departed this life on Thursday, February 2, 2017 in the UK Medical Center in Lexington. She was the daughter of Perry & Lula (Sizemore) Wombles born to them on December 23, 1947. Virgie loved going to church and she attended the Solid Rock House of Prayer and Greenbriar Holiness Church. She loved spending time with her family and friends and especially enjoyed having a Big Mac.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Ed Wombles.

Survivors include, two sons, Eulis Fuson and wife April of Himyar, KY and David Fuson of Flat Lick, two daughters, Brenda Donaldson and husband Mark of Artemus, KY and Bonnie Bargo and husband Ferlin of Scalf, KY, two sisters, Edith Gray and husband Thomas of Artemus and Linda Taylor and husband Eddie Ray of Himyar. She also leaves behind twelve grandchildren, Bethany Fuson, Chaise Fuson, Zackary Mills, Ethan Donaldson, Makema Donaldson, Ashley Warren, Jacob Warren, Samantha Warren, Megan Warren, Kirsten Fuson, Madison Fuson and Alexis Fuson, two great grandchildren, Navaeh and Ambrellia Howard along with many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Mrs. Virgie Fuson  will be conducted in the Cobb Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Golden Taylor and Rev. Eric Jordan officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. She will be laid to rest in the Hammons Cemetery at Flat Lick, KY. Cobb Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
