Vina Mills

Mrs. Vina Mills age 71 of Jellico, TN formerly of Flat Lick, KY passed away on Monday – December 20th, 2010 in the Norris Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of Victor Mills, and the daughter of the late Jim & Dora (Broughton) Merida of Knox County born to then on February 7th, 1939.

Mrs. Mills was a retired custodian from the Knox County School System and was a member of the Tannery Hollow Baptist Church, she enjoyed being with her grandchildren, quilting, and cooking.

Left behind to mourn her passing is her husband Victor Mills of Jellico, TN, one son James David Mills & wife Leeann of Gray, KY, one daughter Vickie Michelle Gray & husband Jackie of Jellico, TN, one brother Lloyd Merida of Ohio, two grandchildren Jenna Mills and Drew Mills, Plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mills will be conducted on Thursday December 23rd, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Vandy officiating. Pallbears will be family & friends. Burial will follow in the Hammons cemetery at Flat Lick, KY, Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends may call at the Hampton Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m.
