Troy Bell Patterson

Mrs. Troy Bell Patterson, age 83 of Flat Lick, KY departed this life on Tuesday, November 06, 2012 in the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin, KY. She was the daughter of Speed & Rosa Sizemore born to them on March 7, 1929 at Mills, KY. On August 14, 1946 she united in marriage with John Henry Patterson and to this union five children were born. Her husband and parents precede her in death along with one son Orie Patterson, a half brother, Lindsey Gambrel and a half sister Ader Gambrel. Troy loved family gatherings with her family, looking at magazines and watching WLJC TV station and also loved her dog Rocky.
Left behind to mourn her passing is her children, Ollie Sizemore and husband Larry, D.C. Patterson and wife Lucy, Patricia Mills and husband Pete, Randy Patterson and wife Dennie all of Mills, KY, a stepson Tony Patterson and wife Kristie of Barbourville, her grandchildren, Cindy Goodin and husband Paul, Leslie Sizemore, Sandra Longsworth and husband Anthony, Bradley Patterson, Stacy Meadors, Ethan Patterson, Caleb Patterson, Zachary Mills, her great grandchildren, Lyssa Bell Goodin, Alexis Nicole Longsworth and Dewayne Michael Cureton. Mrs. Patterson also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Troy Bell Patterson will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Smith and Rev. Paul Wayne Goodin officiating. Pallbearers will be, Tony Mills, Pete Messer, Dwayne Killion, Lester Grubb, Jessie Mills, Wesley Roark, Stacy Roark and Tony Patterson. Honorary pallbearers will be, Dr. Watts, nurse Stacey and Todd Barton. Mrs. Patterson will be laid to rest in the Polly Warren Cemeterey at Mills, KY. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
