Timothy Bill “Sambo” Smith age 33 of Bryant Store, departed this life on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 in the Knox County Hospital. He was the husband of Florence Regina Smith and the son of Ricky & Anna (Killion) Smith born to them on January 29, 1975 in Knox Co. Mr. Smith was a member of the Little Popular Creek Baptist Church, and liked to deer hunt, go camping and spend time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Martha Killion, Larkin Smith and Celia Smith.
Survivors include his wife Florence Regina Smith and one son Timothy Cody Smith, his parents Ricky & Anna Smith all of Bryant Store, one brother Ricky Bartley and wife Melissa of Manchester, KY his grandfather Herbert Killion And his grandmother Hazel Branum both of Bryant Store. Timothy also leaves behind many aunts uncles, cousins & other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services for Mr. Smith will be conducted on Friday, June 27, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Gray & Rev. Emby Earls & Brian Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Gray Family Cemetery at Bryant Store. Pallbearers will be Brian Smith, Roy Senters, David Roaden, Derek Partin, Garrett Dewayne Killion, Jeremy Waligorski, and Christopher Waligorski. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Nicholas Killion, Larkin Smith, Teddy Jones, James Philpot, Jamie Smith, Philip Jones. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home Thursday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
