Mr. Timothy Craig Russ age 48 of Barbourville departed this life on Friday, February 01, 2008. He was the husband of Teresa Hammons Russ of Barbourville, KY. Timothy was the son of the late Robert Russ and Helen Lawson Russ Davis born to them September 22, 1960 in Knox County, KY. Timothy attended the Old Ark House Church. His father preceded Timothy in death.
Survivors include his wife Teresa Hammons Russ of Artemus, KY, his mother Helen Lawson Russ Davis of Barbourville, KY, one son Timothy Craig Russ, Jr., of Barbourville, KY, two daughters Rebecca Russ of Barbourville, KY and Autumn Tye and husband George of Barbourville, KY. Two sisters Joan Hamilton and husband Ledford of Artemus and Beronica Kuhnheim and husband Bill of Covington, KY, and three brothers Jesse James Davis of Artemus, Terry Douglas Davis and wife Lois of Flat Lick, KY, Jack Davis and wife Tena of Artemus and Robert Russ of Covington, KY. Timothy also leaves behind two grandchildren Desaria Tye and Destiny Tye and special friend Teresa Mills of Barbourville, KY in addition to a host of friends and family to mourn his passing. Funeral services for Mr. Timothy Russ will be conducted on Monday-February 4, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Eversole, Rev. Ledford Hamilton and Rev. Lonnie Broyles officiating. Pallbearers will be Timothy’s nephews and friends. Burial will follow at the Sowders Cemetery in Artemus, KY. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
