Theo Chrisman

Mr. Theo Chrisman 83, of Hallsville, TX passed away Saturday, November 07, 2009 , in Longview, Texas. Mr. Chrisman was born July 8, 1926, in Knox County, KY to Charlie and Anna (Parker) Chrisman. He married Page Carty in 1966. They have one son Charles & wife Denessa Chrisman and one granddaughter Megan Faith Chrisman all of Hallsville, TX.
Theo was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hallsville. He was carman for the Texas and Pacific Railroad and Union Pacific Railroad. He served in the 96 Infantry Division of the U.S. Army and was in the Battle of Okinawa in the Pacific. He was a member of the James F. Taylor Masonic Lodge of Hallsville and the Scottish Rite. Mr. Chrisman was a member of the Lake Cherokee Golf Club and was member of Chrisman Coffee Drinkers.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday – November 12, 2009 at the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel in Barbourville, KY with the Rev. Dennis Chesnut officiating. Interment will be in the Carty Family Cemetery at Girdler, KY. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening November 11, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at the Hampton Funeral Home.
