Mrs. Tena Davis age 57 of York Hollow Rd. Barbourville, KY was escorted by angels to her heavenly home on Tuesday, December 03, 2013. She was born on February 18, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan and was the daughter Irene (Skelton) Bingham and the late Stanley Henson. Tena was a member of the Northside Baptist Church and was a retired insurance agent.
She is survived by her mother, Irene Bingham, her husband Jack Davis of Barbourville, one son Chad Mills and wife Brooke of Paris Island, South Carolina and one daughter, Angela Broyles and husband Chuck of Barbourville, one brother Mark Henson and wife Vanessa of Stanford, KY, three sisters, Vicki Long and husband Tracy of Knoxville, TN, Sandy Enderle and husband Dennis of Belefontaine, Ohio and Kim Henson of Artemus, KY, a step sister, Jean Helton of Barbourville, seven grandchildren, Peyton Smith, Kaylum Mills, Taylor Mills, Michael Bruner, Corey Bruner, Jacob Davis and Katelyn Davis. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Tena Davis willl be conducted on Saturday, December 7, 2013 in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Vaughn officiating. Pallbearers will be Danny Davis, Chuck Broyles, Frankie Vandall, Tony Gorman, Corey Bruner, Michael Bruner and Chad Mills. Honorary pallbearers will be, Angie Landrum and staff of the Knox Co. Health Dept., Dr. Euland, Sarah and the staff of Markey Cancer Center and Lu Fields and the family at Diva's Salon. Tena will be laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
