Mrs. Susan Alice Leimann age 92 of Girdler, Ky departed this life on Thursday, April 8, 2010 in the Corbin Nursing Home. She was the daughter of Frank & Mary Lee Ledford and was born on June 6, 1917 in Clay Co., KY. Mrs. Leimann was a member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Sam Pittman and her second husband Al Leimann, one daughter Annett, one son E.L. Pittman, one brother, Howard Ledford, one sister Sally Ledford and two brothers in law, Paris Lee and Charles Raney.
Left behind to mourn her passing is two sisters, Mae Lee & Esther Raney both of Girdler, one grandchild, Dewey Wetzel and one great great grandchild Vaughn Johnson. Mrs. Leimann also leaves behind nieces, nephews and a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Susan Leimann will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jimmy Siler and Rev. David Barnard officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. Burial will follow in the Hampton Cemetery at Girdler. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
