Survivors include: His wife Goldie Smith of Gray, KY, three daughters, Sandra Baysinger and husband Duane of Corbin, KY, Beverly Hensley and husband Joe of Gray, KY and Crystal Neal and husband Carl of Corbin, KY, two brothers, G.C. Smith and wife Lynn of Jacksonville, South Carolina and Thomas Smith and wife Betty of Mendota, Illinois, two sisters, Louise Smith of Corbin, KY, and Lily Abner and husband G.W. of Woolum, KY, six grandchildren, Jessica Baysinger of Taylor Mill, KY, Joshua Baysinger and wife Darla of Woodbine, KY, Heather Baysinger of Florence, KY, Jonathan Barton and wife Nicole of Gray, KY, Cristine Barton of Corbin, KY and Carrie Hensley of Gray, KY, and one great grandchild, Andrew Baysinger of Woodbine, KY. Mr. Smith also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Funeral services for Mr. Steve Smith will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jimmy Siler and Rev. Mike Griffith officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Shelton, Fred Smith, Jr. and Virgil Smith. Burial will follow in the Hutchinson Cemetery at Bailey Switch. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1;00 p.m.
