Shirley June Miller

Shirley June Miller, age 76, of Morning View, KY passed away on November 26, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY. She was retired form RCA where she worked in the factory. Shirley was a member of Old Poplar Creek Baptist Church in Barbourville, KY. She loved flowers and working on the family farm and was also an animal lover. She was preceded in death by eight of her siblings. Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Starling Miller; daughters, Glenna Miller and Callene Rump; son, Garry (Bonnie) Miller, sister, Cledia Lane; brothers, Ray (Pauline) Powers; grandchildren, Shannon Miller, Brandy Miller(William) Engelhardt, Shawn Rump and Jamie Rump; great grandchildren, Wyatt Englehardt and Grace Englehardt. A visitation will be held at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence, KY on Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 2 pm to 6 pm and also on Monday, December 1, 2014 from 12 pm to 2 pm at Hampton Funeral Home in Barbourville, KY. A funeral service will immediately follow. Burial will be in the Miller Family Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to the donor's charity of choice.
