Mrs. Sherry Lynn Brown age 48 departed this life on Friday, October 14th, 2011 at her home. She was the wife of Quentin Brown and the daughter of Ezekiel Jordan and Linda (Garland) Jordan born to them on March 30th, 1963.
Sherry believed in the Baptist faith, and enjoyed camping and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father Ezekiel Jordan, an infant son Michael McKen Gray, and her grandparents Rev. Luther & Ellen Garland, and Tipp & Malvie Jordan.
Left behind to mourn her passing is her husband Quentin Brown, her mother Linda Jordan, one son Travis Gray & wife Jennifer of Barbourville, KY, brother & sister-in-law Frank Bargo & wife Janie of Himyar, KY, Lonnie Bargo & wife Sondra of Bimble, KY, Geraldine Reynolds & husband Jeff of South bend, Ohio, and Doris Jean Sams & husband Danny of Turkey Creek, KY, two grandchildren Mackenzie Jones, and Conner Gray, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Sherry Vaughn will be conducted on Thursday - October 20th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ken Merida & Rev. Charles Henson officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Lonnie Bargo, and Frank Bagro. Burial will follow in the family cemetery at Flat Lick, KY. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends may call at the Hampton Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 11:00.
