Mrs. Shelby J. Lane age 72 of Gray, KY passed away on Thursday – April 16, 2009 in the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin, KY. She was the widow of John Lane Jr. (Birddog) and the daughter of the late Roy Davidson & Martha (Cobb) of Perry county, born to them on April 06, 1937.
Mrs. Lane was a member of the Gray’s Baptist Church and enjoyed shopping at the Goodwill & flea markets, working out in the yard, and singing.
Her husband John, her parents Roy & Martha Davidson, two sons Johnny Dean Lane, Mark Allen Lane, two brothers Tam Davidson, and Pat Davidson preceded Shelby in death.
Left to mourn her passing, two sons Michael Lane & wife Patricia of Gray, KY, Steven Lane of Gray, KY, three sisters Joyce Granger, Jennie Davidson, Bernice Davidson all of Ohio. A Daughter-in-law Annette Lane Davis of Jellico, Tn,Seven Grandchildren, and three Great Grandchildren plus a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday – April 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grays Baptist Church in Gray, KY, with Rev. Darrel Warren officiating.
