Shannon Marie Hinkle, age 21 of Hinkle, KY departed this life on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 in the Rockcastle Hospital & Respiratory Care Center in Mt. Vernon, KY. She was the daughter of Marsha Hinkle.
Shannon was preceded in death by her grandparents Leonard and Ruby Perry, a special grandmother Edna Liford and a special great uncle Kenny Bowing. Survivors include her parents Marsha and Gary Hinkle, her fiancé Finley Elam, two sisters Crystal Deaton and husband Eddie and Alice Hinkle, one brother Bennie Hinkle, grandparents Will and Lula Hinkle, two special nephews Travis and Devin Deaton, A very special cousin and her best friend Amanda Lester. Shannon also leaves behind a host of friends and neighbors to mourn her passing. Funeral services for Shannon Marie Hinkle will be conducted on Saturday-June 23, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the Dripping Springs Baptist Church at Calebs Creek with Rev. Vernon Morris, Rev. Roger Liford and Rev. John Whitehead officiating. Pallbearers will be Dakota Baker, Benny Baker, Charles Hinkle, Marty Liford, Daniel Hinkle, Sr., and Jeremy Lester. Honorary pallbearers will be Jamie Deaton, Harold Liford, Dwayne Woolum and Jimmy Wynn. Burial will follow in the Hinkle Hilltop Cemetery at Hinkle; Ky. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
