Ruthie Mills

Ms. Ruthie Mills age 67 of Barbourville departed this life on Friday, December 24, 2010 in the Knox Co. Hospital. She was the daughter of Homer & Ethel Mills born to them on August 24th, 1943 in Knox County.
Ruthie was a member of the Clear Creek Baptist Church, and enjoyed listing to gospel music and singing.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Paul Mills, and two sisters Wanda Mills, and Veva Jean Mills.
Left behind to mourn her passing is one brother Jerry Mills, four sisters Victoria Carnes Deaton, Genoria Stewart, and Betty Baker & husband Gerald all of Barbourville, KY and Virginia Mills of Flat Lick, KY and a special niece Holly Helton. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Miss Mills will be conducted on Wednesday , December 29th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Gerald Baker, Rev. A.Y. Mills, Rev. Donnie Mills and Rev. Herman Mills officiating. Pallbearers will be David Carnes, Lonnie Carnes, Eddie Carnes, Jimmy Carnes, Michael Paul Mills, Daniel Hibbard, Glendale Mills, and Wesley Mills. The family would like to say a special “thank you” to Dr. Warren. Burial will follow in the Lark Bargo Cemetery at Turkey Fork. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

Friends may call at the Hampton Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
