Mr. Rudolph Osborne age 85 of Barbourville, KY passed away on Sunday - June 24, 2012 at his home. He was the husband of Mary (Bartolo) Osborne and the son of the late David & Lucy (Lefevers) Osborne, born to them on August 27, 1926 in Kettle Island, in Pineville, KY.
Rudolph was a member of the Roadside Baptist Church, and former Lumber yardman.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers Edward, Hobart, Earl, Charlie (Chalk), and James B. Osborne, and one sister Norma Osborne Bingham.
Left to mourn his passing is his wife Mary Osborne of Barbourville, KY, two daughters Norma (Osborne) Watson & husband Rollin James of Somerset, KY, and Rowena Smith & husband Harold of Barbourville, KY. Grandchildren David Osborne Watson, Jennifer Mary Watson, Juliana (Watson) Dick & husband J. Scott Dick, Jason L. Smith & wife Amber Haddix Smith and Brent Smith & wife Amy Cason Smith. Great Grandchildren James S. Dick, Jenna M. Dick, Julia Spaulding, Nathaniel Watson, Whitney L Smith, and Madison P. Smith, Plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Rudolph Osborne will be conducted on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 @ 11:00 a.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Tingle & David Watson officiating. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery, with family & friends serving as Pallbearers. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Hospice of the Bluegrass.
The family will receive friends at the Hampton Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with Funeral at 11:00 on Wednesday.
