Ruby Miller

Mrs. Ruby Miller age 81 of Bryant Store, KY departed this life on Monday, May 3, 2010 in the UT Medical Center in Knoxville. She was the widow of Luther Calvin Miller and the daughter of the late Ed & Clara Edna (Pridemore) Porach of Knox County born to them on May 22, 1928. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Old Ark House of Prayer and enjoyed being with her family, watching T.V. , fishing, traveling, going to church, gardening and listening to music.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ed & Clara Porach, her husband Luther Miller, one son Tony Lee Miller, and one daughter Joann Miller.
Left behind to mourn her passing is five sons, Oscar Miller & wife Geneva of Cohutta, GA, Donnie Ray Miller & wife Linda S. of Erlanger, KY, Robert Miller & wife Rosie of Newport, KY, James Miller & Lisa of Nashville, TN, and John Miller & wife Sharon of Cannon, KY, three daughters Janice McVey & husband Ronnie, and Rita (Midge) Stapleton both of Bryant Store, and Linda Brock & husband Johnny of Williamsburg, KY, one sister Donna Collins of Tremont, Mississippi, twenty four grandchildren Anthony, Sandra, Natasha, Russell, Robert, Jay, Edna, Rebecca, Devona, Anita, Randy, Randall, Anna S. , Amanda, James A., Jeffery, Jason S, Joann, David, James Calvin, Jason, Bradley, Justin, and Dillon and twenty two great grandchildren and a special friend who helped with maintenance & yard work Jerry Benttin. Mrs. Miller also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Miller will be conducted on Friday- May 7th, 2010 at 12:00 noon in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Eversole officiating. Pallbearers will be her sons. Honorary Pallbearer will be family & friends & her beloved church family.Burial will follow in the Wells Cemetery at Williamsburg. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangement.

Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 12:00 noon.
