Mrs. Ruby Jean Miles, age 62, of Barbourville, KY, departed this life on Thursday, January 2, 2014, in Knox County, KY, as the result of an automobile accident. She was born in Knox County, KY, on January 21, 1951, the daughter of the late Clyde Teague and Axie Hinkle Teague. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Lonnie Teague and Kenny Teague, and one sister, Barilla Moses.
Mrs. Miles was a member of the Scalf Chapel Holiness Church. She loved working with plants, birds, crafts and floral designing.
Left to mourn her passing is her husband, Charles Miles, Barbourville, KY, two sons, Charles David Miles and wife Calista, Barbourville, KY, and Jeremy Richard Miles and wife Bobbie Jean, Barbourville, KY, three brothers, Hobart Teague, Wayne Teague, Kelly Teague, and Clyde Teague, all of Barbourville, KY, two sisters, Brenda Sneed and Joyce Gray, both of Ohio, and four grandchildren, Tyler, Camille, Elizabeth, and Isabella, all of Barbourville, KY.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Jean Miles will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, January 5, 2014, at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Mike Helton officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will follow in the Miles Branch Cemetery at Rockholds. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Saturday, January 4, from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m., and on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
