Mr. Ronnie Gordon Partin age 62 of Barbourville departed this life on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at his home. He was the husband of Linda (Jones) Partin and the son of Shelt and Martha (Brown) Partin born to them on March 5, 1952 in Knox Co. Mr. Partin was a member of the Paint Hill Baptist Church and loved spending time with his family and hunting and fishing in his spare time. He is preceded in death by his parents, Shelt and Martha, two brothers, Troy and James Partin and one sister, Henrietta Wagers.
Left behind to mourn his passing in his loving wife, Linda Partin of Barbourville, three sisters, Muriel Brown of Barbourville, Lorene Huegel of Virginia and Rachel Ellison of Ohio, a special great niece Audrey Webb and a special great nephew Devin Ellison. He also leaves behind a host of many other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Ronnie Partin will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Owen Smith and Rev. Tip Smith officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Vora and Hospice of the Bluegrass. Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery at Greenroad, KY. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
