Mr. Ronnie C. Warren, age 67, of Warren, Michigan, originally from Walker, KY, went home to the Lord on October 4, 2013. He was born in Knox County, KY, on December 26, 1945, the son of the late Anderson and Verniece Powell Warren. Ronnie, a great provider and a hard worker, worked for Chrysler Corporation for over thirty five years, along with many other jobs over his life. He loved basketball - in particular the Kentucky Wildcats. He loved to travel; he loved to see the country from an automobile, and loved to spend time with his family, his son-in-law, and his grandchildren.
Mr. Warren was the beloved husband and best friend of Patricia Bentley Warren for over forty years. He was the beloved father of Vernece Hollon and husband Phil, Jamie Tadros and Joseph Vitale. He was the dear brother of Judy Sizemore and husband Edgar, Lonnie Warren and wife Barbara, and Andy Warren and wife Debra. He was the best friend and brother-in-law of Thaddeus "Butch" Bentley and wife Emily. He was the loving grandfather of Max Ronnie Hollon, Kendall Gracie Hollon and Samantha Leo Hollon, and the loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gracie Warren and Otto Warren of Walker, Kentucky, and his parents Verniece Powell Warren and Anderson Warren of Walker, KY.
Funeral services for Mr. Ronnie C. Warren will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 12, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles Henson officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. He will be laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery, Barbourville, KY. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Friday, October 11, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m., and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
