Ronald Eugene Tanner, age 54, of Barbourville, Kentucky passed away Thursday evening at the Knox County Hospital in Barbourville. Ronald was the father of Roger Lee Tanner of Barbourville, and Alexis Grace of Cincinnati. Besides his two children he was survived by one sister Martha Deloris Merida of Cincinnati and one grandchild. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Phyllis Lane Tanner, two children Shannon Tanner and Ronald Tanner Jr, and one brother Roger Lee Tanner.
Funeral services for Ronald Tanner will be conducted at 11AM Monday at the Hampton Funeral Home with Paul Gray officiating. Burial will follow in the Manning Cemetery at Flat Lick. The family will receive friends after 5PM Sunday at the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel.
