Mrs. Roma Gibson, age 90 of Mantua, Ohio formerly of Knox Co., departed this life on Monday, February 19, 2007 at her home. She was the widow of the late Elbert Gibson and the mother of Mack Gibson. Mrs. Gibson was the daughter of Irvin Cabbell and Ida Mae Cabbell born to them March 8, 1916 in Boone Co., West Virginia.Mrs. Gibson was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Sister: Emma Alice Dolin of Foster, WV Half sister: Sharon Cabble Half brother: Norvel Russell Cabble of Houston, TX Grandchildren: Brookie Gibson, Celeste Gibson, Jesse Gibson, Katie Gibson, Amanda Gibson, Jeremy Martin, Michael Martin, Travis Gibson and Harley Gibson. Great-grandchildren: Makala Davis, Rikki Davis, Paul Miller, Eternity Gibson, Neveah Gibson, Tommy Barton, Rema Hager, Kyle Horn, Austin Horn, Breyann Stevens, Jordan Martin, Jeremy Martin, Kaylee Martin, Michael Martin, Mackenzie Martin and Nick Meeker. Mrs. Gibson also leaves behind a host of friends and neighbors to mourn her passing. Funeral services for Mrs. Roma Gibson will be conducted on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Martin and Rev. Johnny Gibson officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery at Davis Bend. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
