Mr. Roland “Shawn” Daniel age 54 of Barbourville, Ky., departed this life on Saturday – September 20, 2008 in the Knox County General Hospital in Barbourville. He was born on April 08, 1954 to Irvin Daniel & Dorothy Evelyn Feltner. Shawn believed in the Baptist faith, and enjoyed playing music, the outdoors, and talking on the CB radios. His father Irvin Daniel preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother Dorothy E. Feltner, one son Roland Shane Daniel, four daughters Candy Shawna Browning & husband Michael, Monvan Renee Lawson & husband T.J., Tonya Sue Daniel, Martha Aileen Daniel, four grandchildren Michael Browning, Shawntane Browning, Angela Lawson, Taylor Matlock, all of Barbourville, Ky. Plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services for Mr. Shawn Daniel will be conducted on Wednesday – September 24, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Chesnut officiating. Burial will follow in the MaGee Cemetery with Wayne Black, Jr, Bradley Robbins, Michael Browning, Jason Garland, David Browning, and Jamie Eldridge serving as pallbearers. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
