Mr. Rodney Charles McIntyre age 22 of Barbourville, Ky., passed away Wednesday-August 15, 2007 as a result of an automobile accident. He was the son of Philip McIntyre and Sandra Wilson born to them on December 24, 1984 in Knox Co. Rodney was preceded in death by his grandparents Estil and Elva McIntyre.
Survivors include: his mother Sandra Wilson of Barbourville, Ky. his father Philip McIntyre of Stinking Creek, one brother Travis McIntyre of Barbourville, Ky., grandparents Roy Estil and Odell Wilson of Kay Jay, Ky. Rodney also leaves behind a host of friends and neighbors to mourn his passing. Funeral service for Rodney Charles McIntyre will be conducted on Sunday-August 19, 2007 at 4 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Wayne Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be Robbie McIntyre, Robert Cox, Steven Stamper, Justin Cox, James Partin, Joe Partin, and Michael Smith. Burial will follow in the Tinsley Cemetery at Trosper, Ky. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
