Mr. Ricky Nelson, age 51, of Dickson, TN the husband of Christina Smith Nelson and the son of the late William Nelson, Sr. & Juanita Millican Nelson Wendell, who departed this life on Thursday – September 11th, 2008 in the Horizon Medical Center. His parents his stepfather Roger Wendell, preceded Mr. Nelson in death.
Survivors include, his wife Christina Smith Nelson of Dickson, TN, one son Dustin Nelson of Burns, TN, one step- daughter Chrissan Stokes of Dickson, TN, two brothers, Tom Nelson & his wife, Camille of Brentwood, TN, William Nelson Jr, & his wife, Mylinda of Blytheville, AR. One sister Doris Staggs of Franklin, TN. Mother & Father-in-law, George & Marie Smith of Bimble, Ky., Plus a host of other Nephews & Nieces, relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services will be conducted at the Taylor Funeral Home, in Dickson, TN, on Sunday – September 14, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Longtom Mills Cemetery in Scalf, Ky., The family will meet at the Hampton Funeral Home at 4:00 p.m. on Monday for funeral procession.
