Mr. Rex Helton
Mr. Rex Helton, age 54 of, Flat Lick, Ky. passed away Wednesday-January 24, 2007 in the Pineville Community Hospital. He was the son of late Hivel Helton and Novada Coots Helton born to them on November 28, 1952. in Bell county.
Mr. Helton was a member of the Old Straight Creek Trinity Tabernacle Church.

He was a retired Riverboat worker from Columbia Marine Service. Mr.
Helton also worked as a mechanic, at Chevron in Pineville, Ky. Mr.
Helton enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially attending church and
fellowship with his family and friends.
On April 12, 1975, he was united in marriage to Mrs. Linda Gail Gray
Helton and to this union one child was born. Mr. Helton was preceded in
death by his parents and three sisters.
Survivors include his wife Linda Gail Helton, Flat Lick, Ky. and one
son Rex Steven Helton of Flat Lick, Ky. Two brothers Frank Helton,
Independence, Ky. Garrett Helton and wife Barbara of Pineville, Ky. Two
sisters Gladys Henderson, Pineville, Ky, and Loretta Dunlop,Western,
Ky, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services will be January 27th, at the Old Straight Creek
Trinity Tabernacle Church in Pineville, Ky. Sunday at 11:00am with the
Rev. Mark Mahurin , and Rev. Bobby Grubb officiating .Interment will be
in the Hammons Cemetery in Flat Lick, Ky. Pallbearers will be
family and friends. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Old Straight Creek Trinity Tabernacle
Church beginning Saturday January 27th, at 4:00pm until the hour of
service at 11:00am on Sunday.
