Mrs. Remona Sizemore age 85 of Barbourville, Kentucky, departed this life on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on January 21, 1939, the daughter of William Lewis and Martha (Henson) Lewis. She united in marriage with William McKinley Sizemore and to this union eight children were born. She believed in the Baptist faith and enjoyed quilting, sewing and cooking. She could make the very best biscuits and gravy.

She is preceded in death by her husband William McKinley Sizemore, her parents, William and Martha Lewis, four children, Lance Sizemore, Billy David Sizemore, Magnolia “Susie” Barnes and Thomas Wayne Sizemore and two brothers, Jack Lewis and Jerry Lewis.

Left behind to mourn her passing, her four children, Cathy Testino and husband Richard of Dallas, Georgia, William McKinley “Kenny” Sizemore, Jr. of Flat Lick, Mark Sizemore of Waleska, Georgia and Shawn Sizemore and wife Melissa of Barbourville, one sister, Orphia Lynch and husband Ricky of London, nineteen grandchildren,  Jake Barnes, Brandy Hilldebrand, Matthew Barnes, Tabitha Barnes, Corey Sizemore, Shain Sizemore, Jessica Sizemore, Sarah Sizemore, Brittany Heltzel, Jill James, Aaron Barnes, Chad Testino, Amanda Frazier, Lance Sizemore, Nathan Sizemore, Tia Matskovskaya, Jared Sizemore, Cheyenne Sizemore and Halay Sizemore, and seventeen great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sizemore will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home chapel on Sunday April 21, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Brandon Dunn officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Sizemore Cemetery at Flat Lick. Pallbearers will be Jacob Barnes, Matthew Barnes, Aaron Barnes, Chad Testino, Dylan Sizemore and Lance Sizemore. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00.
