Rebecca Dye

Rebecca Lynn Dye age 28 of Flat Lick, KY departed this life on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at her home. She was born on March 28, 1981 in Bell Co., KY and was the daughter of Gennie Dye and Churchill Smith. She believed in the Baptist faith and was a cancer survivor of six years. She enjoyed being with her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father Churchill Smith and her step father Sammy Dye.
Left behind to mourn her passing is her mother Gennie Beth
Gambrel Dye of Flat Lick, KY, her boyfriend Michael Claiborne of Flat Lick, her three beautiful children, Christina Noel Carter, Ryan lee Carter and Devon Michael Claiborne all of Flat Lick, three sisters, Kathy Rose and husband Jimmy of Flat Lick, Sandy Kincade and husband Garrett of Miracle, KY and Angie Smith of Middlesboro, KY. Rebecca also leaves behind a host of many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Rebecca Lynn Dye will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Rice and Rev. Charles Carnes officiating. Pallbearers will be Gary Sizemore, Frank Sizemore, Earnest Sizemore, Jr., Andy Asher, Jerry Paul Cox and Jason Gambrel. Honorary pallbearers will be Neighbors and friends. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery at Acorn Fork. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
