Mr. Raymond Miles, age 71 of Newport, KY departed this life on Sunday, September 21, 2014 in the Lake Ridge Villa in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the widower of Esther Miles and the son of Wilse and Ruth Miles. He was born on November 5, 1942 in Permon, KY. He had been a factory worker and a painter during his life and was also a Veteran of the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his wife Esther, one brother and one sister.
Survivors include, his nieces and nephews, Ruth Hamlin and husband Tim of Newport, KY and Danna Palmer and husband Dave of Covington, KY, Donna Gross and Sandy Gross, Wilse Gross and james Miles, Jr. and wife Terrie all of Barbourville, Carl Gross and John Miles. He also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Raymond Miles will be conducted on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Glenn Collins officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. He will be laid to rest in the Hubbs Cemetery at Flat Creek. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 12 noon until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
