Mr. Ray Otis Wilson age 71 of Hinkle, KY departed this life on Monday, June 21, 2010 in the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. He was the husband of Troy Bargo Wilson who he married on September 26, 1959. He was born on March 2, 1939 in Bell County to the union of Earnest and Sarah Lester Wilson Saunders. He was a retired Coal Miner and attended Dripping Springs Baptist Church and gave his life to the Lord on June 15, 2010 through profession of faith. He loved his grandchildren, U.K. Basketball, to garden, Mow and his old truck.

He was preceded in death by his parents Earnest Wilson and Sarah Lester Wilson Saunders. One infant daughter, two brothers: Donald and James Wilson, one sister Ludina Smith, two half brothers John and Jerry Saunders one grandchild Kevin Trosper and one great grandchild Khloe Makayla Broughton.

Survivors include his wife Troy Bargo Wilson, one son Billy Ray Wilson and wife Audrey, two daughters Linda Kay Cox and husband Jeff, Eva Mae Hinkle and husband Danny all of Callebs Creek, one sister Lillie Wilson Williamson of Bimble, Ky, two half brothers: Clarence and Delmer Saunders both of Maysville, KY, four half sisters Patricia Bingham of Boone Height, Beulah Saunders of Beattyville, KY Shirley Scott of Ohio and Nancy Harper of Henderson, MI, eight grandchildren Kristy Broughton, Amanda Wilson, Misty Wilson, Brittany Wilson, Daniel Hinkle, Steven Hinkle, Jonathan Hinkle and Mackenzie Hinkle, five great grandchildren Jade and Whitney Trosper, D.J. Hinkle, Bentley Broughton and Makayla Rae.

Funeral services for Ray Otis Wilson will be conducted on Friday June 25, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel Rev Dwayne Smith and Rev. Ricky Broughton officiating. Burial will follow in the Cox Cemetery at Callebs Creek with Daniel Hinkle, Steven Hinkle, Danny Hinkle, Rodney Elliot, Rex Broughton, Jeff Cox, James David Hubbard and Donald J. Hubbard serving as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers are Johnny Callebs, Charlie Bargo, Ed Bargo, Dustin Myles, all the staff at Commonwealth Cancer Center, members of Dripping Springs Baptist Church and BRMC CCU Staff.

The family will receive friends at Hampton Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
