Ms. Phyllis Ann Mills age 62 of London, KY passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2014. She was the daughter of Ellen Mills and the late Chris Mills of London, KY born to them on June 16, 1951. Phyllis was a member of the Mt Olivet Baptist Church.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her father Chris Mills, granddaughter Brianna Nicole Stopher and niece Devonna Gail Brown.
Left behind to mourn her passing is her mother Ellen Mills, two daughters, Ella Christine VanDijk and Georgia Ann Stopher all of London, KY, six grandchildren, Dillon VanDijk of Richmond, KY, Brandy VanDijk Tyler Stopher, Dustin Stopher, David Stopher and Tannah Rowland all of London, KY, one sister, Ruth Smith and husband Roscoe and one brother, Billy Mills and wife Wanda Sue all of London, KY. She also leaves behind two nephews Jesse Smith of Hindman, KY and Roscoe Dean Smith and wife Darlene of West Virginia, two nieces, Bridgett Messer and husband Colson and Ronda Eldridge and husband Jason all of London, KY. She also leaves behind great nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Ms. Phyllis Mills will be conducted on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Lonnie Collett officiating. Pallbearers will be Dustin, Dillion, Eric, Cody, Jay and Tyler. Burial will follow in the Mills Smith Family Cemetery at London, KY. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
