Pete Ledford

Mr. Pete Ledford age 73 of Barbourville departed this life on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at his home. He was the husband of Carol (Wynn) Ledford and the son of Creed and Lucy Ledford born to them on December 22, 1941. Mr. Ledford was the owner and operator of Oasis Pizza in Barbourville for the past thirty one years. He believed in the Pentecostal faith. He thoroughly enjoyed fishing during his time off.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Creed and Lucy and four brothers, Jessie, Arnold, David and Wendell Ledford.
Left behind to mourn his passing, his loving wife Carol Ledford and their son Rickie Ledford both of Barbourville, a brother Jack Ledford and wife Janet also of Barbourville, three sisters, Drucilla Burnett and Wanda Mahan both of Williamsburg and Bonnie Ledford of Barbourville, two grandchildren, Matthew and Keith Ledford , three great grandchildren, McKensey, Trevor and Cameron Ledford and his mother in law Maude Wynn. He also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Pete Ledford will be conducted on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Roy Thomas, Rev. Paul W. Long and Rev. Josh Chadwell officiating. Pallbearers will be, Brett Ledford, Brent Ledford, Matt Ledford, Michael Clifton, Darryl Ledford, Keith Ledford, Gerald Hoskins and Lee Thomas. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
