Mrs. Pauline Jones age 64 of Barbourville departed this life on Thursday, December 06, 2012 at her home. She was born on August 1, 1948 and was the daughter of Arthur Vaughn and Pearl Lawson Vaughn. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Bobby Jones, three sisters, Hazel Cleo Vaughn, Illedean Vaughn and Verniece Vaughn and a brother, James Ishmael Vaughn.
Survivors include, a son, Bobby Jones, Jr. and wife Leslie of Harlan, KY and a daughter, Janet K. Jones of Bimble, one brother, Kenneth Ray Vaughn and wife Irene of Barbourville, four sisters, Elsie Jones and husband Kenneth of Belleville, Michigan, Mary Townsley and husband Lonnie of Bimble, Jessie Riley and husband Rev. Ronald Riley of Nicholasville and Nancy Carmack and husband Jerry of Bimble, three grandchildren, Emma Elizabeth, Reagan Alexis and Lillian Ann Kay. Mrs. Jones also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Jones will be conducted on Sunday, December 8, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Vaughn and Rev. Ronald Riley officiating. Mrs. Jones will be laid to rest in the Betty Frost Cemetery at Woolum, KY. Pallbearers will be family & friends and honorary pallbearers will be the Knox Co. Hospital ICU staff. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 pm. at the Hampton Funeral Home and on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
