Mr. Otis Jordan age 68 of Corbin, KY departed this life on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 in the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. He was the son of the late Walter & Mattie (Mills) Jordan, born to them in Knox Co. Ky on January 28, 1940. Mr. Jordan believed in the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Jim Messer, and One brother-in-law Robert Meece.
Survivors include: His ex-wife Alice Warren, Two daughters Joyce Tackett & husband Vic of Rockhold, Ky., Barbara Sickelsmith & husband David of Keavy, Ky., Two brothers Cecil Jordan & wife Christina of Williamsburg, Ky., Jerry Wayne Jordan of Bailey Switch, Ky., Four Sister’s Joyceleen Carter & husband Laney of Artemus, Ky., Christeen Vaughn of Artemus, Ky., Rose Meece of Somerset, Ky., Rachel Ann Estridge & husband Wayne of Eton, Ga., Five Grand-children and Three Great Grandchildren. Funeral Service will be in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel, On Saturday – February 9th, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. With the Rev. Elmer Parks officiating. Pallbearers will be Family & Friends. Interment will be at the Goins Cemetery with Hampton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
