Nathaniel "Nathan" Lee Broughton age 11, of Girdler, KY passed away on Monday - May 21, 2012. He was the son of Tony Broughton and Patricia (Collins) Broughton born to them on August 19th, 2000 in Whitley County. Nathan was a member of the North Main Pentecostal Church, and enjoyed riding his bike, and his four wheeler, helping his dad work on cars, fishing, digging for root, playing with his nieces Madison & Gracie Broughton, and being with his Dad & brothers and kicking up mud.
Left behind to mourn his passing is his parents Tony Broughton, and Patricia Broughton, his brothers Tony Terrance Tyler Broughton, Jacob Bradley Broughton, Phillip Michael Broughton, Anthony Joseph Roark Centers and Russell Dewayne Roark Centers, one sister Felicia Nicole Collins, two nieces Madison & Gracie Broughton, Grandparents Rev.Jackie Dean Broughton & wife Edna, Dessie Marie Broughton, Eugene Collins and Barbara Lawhorn, step- grandparents Willie & Wanda Stewart , Gene Lawhorn, Aunts & Uncles James Reynolds, Jeremy Reynolds, Earnest Broughton, Kenny Broughton, Tina Martin, Debra Broughton, Jon Martini, Sherry Broughton, Jenny Mills, Kelly Brown, and Mickey Brown.17 First Cousin's, and 28 Great Aunts & Uncles, special friends Willie & Wanda Stewart, & McKenzie Stewart Michael & Kathy Mills, Connie & Jimmie & Tiffany Stewart, Martin & Jamie Mills, and Crystal Martini. Plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Nathan will be conducted on Saturday - May 26h, 2012 @ 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Scott Phipps & Rev. Les Broughton officiating. Pallbearers will be Phillip Broughton, Jeremy Reynolds, Michael Mills, Kelly Reynolds, Kevin Payne and Eric Payne. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
